How do the EPS kits work? Our power steering conversions work by integrating EPS (electronic power steering) motors in to the steering column. An integrated torque sensor detects the movement of the steering wheel and provides instantaneous assistance when required. They are fully electric and require no hydraulic fluid. They also require no maintenance. In most applications the motor is hidden behind the steering column out of view.

Our fittings take 3 hours, but with self-fit kits customers should expect to add another 2 hours on top at minimum to account for following the instructions.
Yes, many of our customers that are not up for fitting the kits themselves, outsource the job to a local garage. Be sure to tell them that the kits comes with all the components required, as well as detailed instructions. For quoting purposes, you can tell them it will take around 3 hours.
Our EPS motors are fully adjustable which means that users can set the amount of power assistance they would like (i.e a heavy or light feel). So it can be suited to particular taste or particular driving conditions. This can be done via a dash-mounted knob, which is provided in all of our kits. Some users prefer to turn the assistance to maximum and not install the knob, which is completely fine also.
Yes – if for some reason you want to go back to your old non-power steering column, it is a straightforward process to bolt it back in.
Although unlikely, many customers would still like to know what happens in the event their power steering column stops working. The answer is that there will no longer be any power assistance, but the steering will function as normal, just like it did before it had any power steering.
Yes, having an EPS (electronic power steering) motor integrated in to the vehicles original steering column is just like having someone very strong turn the wheel for you at all times, which vehicles are well able to cope with.
As standard our kits come with a manual adjustment knob for the level of power assistance. If you would like yours to automatically adjust based on the speed of the vehicle, we can implement a GPS based system on request for additional cost.
We select robust and high quality Electronic Power Steering motors that are upcycled. Our units are inspected, adjusted and thoroughly tested, prior to being integrated in to our steering columns.
All our fittings and kits are guaranteed for 3 years. We are confident that they will last far beyond this time, so even if you are outside this window, do get in touch with us and we will remedy any problems for you.

For international customers, we can create an ebay listing, which helps simplify the import process and may help reduce the import duty. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss this.
In order to send out kits and wait for returned steering columns, we need a stock of columns to work on. Our left hand drive stock is limited and if customers have not returned their old columns in exchange yet, we can not send out new kits.
In this instance, we ask that you send us your column in advance. Left hand drive customers sending their columns in advance are given priority treatment - the columns are converted to power steering and sent back within 3 business days.
Yes, we take our workshop on the road and come to you. Please use the contact form at the top of the page to send us a message with your vehicle make and your postcode, and we will get back to you with a quote.
